“I had the pleasure of having DB booked on set for a couple's session I was photographing. It was outdoor in the hustle of Manhattan's Meatpacking District. That can be distracting, but she was calm and organized and her insanely charming personality clicked with the models right away. You could tell they felt safe in her hands. We started very simple and natural and gradually added a little more glam throughout the session. Given one of the models had dark brown skin, some might've questioned if DB was the right artist to work with. She was MORE than prepared with flattering colors for all skin tones! That's right brown folks, DB is ready for the melanin! Also, for photographers, it should be noted, she balanced standing back to watch and choosing the right moments to pop in for touchups during the session brilliantly. It never felt like she was in the way. That is key for me, as I hate feeling like someone is over my shoulder the whole session. Honestly, stop reading and just book her! You'll be glad you did!”
